Freshmen—Explore!
· Talk to faculty and upper-class students in your major
· Join departmental clubs or professional organizations
· Check out the Major & Career Exploration Center
· Participate in community service and/or a summer job
Sophomores—Focus!
· Commit to a major
· Look into National or International Exchange programs
· Seek leadership positions
· Connect with alumni and people in your field
Juniors—Prepare!
· Visit the Career Development Center and learn:
o How to write a resume
o How to interview
o How to find a job or apply to grad school
· Get career experience
Seniors—Act!
· Begin your job search nine months before graduation
· Begin applying to graduate schools
· Attend job fairs and networking events
· Find out everything you can about on-campus recruitment and interviews
