Hi Everyone!
If you were not able to come to the program with CA Zach and ASM Andrea last night here is what you missed.
Make your own trail mix! Keep in mind when you are studying and you take a break DON’T EAT JUNK FOOD.
Here are some simple healthy snacks:
· Trail Mix
· Banana and peanut butter
· Sliced apples and peanut putter
· Mixed nuts
· Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
· Orange Juice
· Cranberry Juice
· Veggies
· Pita Chips
· Ants on a log
· Pretzels
· Hummus
· Greek Yogurt
· Cheese
· A LITTLE dark chocolate
· Raisins
· Tea/coffee
· Applesauce
Here are some of the study tips we talked about:
· Control the environment. If something is distracting you go somewhere else
· Don’t study in your bed!
· Make a list of what work needs to be done and organize it by what needs to be done first
· Spend extra time on classes you struggle with
· RELAX
· Take study breaks
· Take notes in class
· Do the readings assigned and outline what you read
· If you are struggling in a class speak with the professor
· Form study groups with your classmates
· Don’t “pull all-nighters” it just leaves you exhausted in the morning when you take the test
